LOTUS ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: MARIA PERRINO '25

Hey Lotus!

When it comes to fashion, my style has definitely matured post-grad. Putting together work outfits instead of school outfits has been a fun challenge since it wasn’t what I’m used to. I work at an elementary school, so I’ve become more creative with patterns, colors, layers, and silhouettes (new for a girl who loves all-black). The environment around me changed when I moved back to New England and that inspires my style choices as well. Artistic projects are on my own terms now, and it’s important to keep them alive when life gets in the way. These photos are from a fun photoshoot I did with my friend Natalie - we were testing out new film and shooting techniques. Graduating may be intimidating, but change leads to new opportunities!
