"They're looking for confirmation of their own already held beliefs. They're not actually going to change their mind based on what I'm saying. So like, what? What are the ways in which I can kind of talk about myself and my experience in a way that, like may help someone figure out something about themselves?"

When it comes to fashion, my style has definitely matured post-grad. Putting together work outfits instead of school outfits has been a fun challenge since it wasn’t what I’m used to. I work at an elementary school, so I’ve become more creative with patterns, colors, layers, and silhouettes (new for a girl who loves all-black).
